The Hippies Were Right! Green homes? Organic food? Nature is good? Time To Give The Ol' Tie-Dyers Some Respect by Mark Morford
Go ahead, name your movement. Name something good and positive and pro-environment and eco-friendly that's happening right now in the newly "greening" America and don't say more guns in Texas or fewer reproductive choices for women or endless vile unwinnable BushCo wars in the Middle East lasting until... For Those Born 1930-1979
TO ALL THE KIDS WHO SURVIVED the 1940's, 50's, 60's and 70's!!

Centuries ago, in a
seemingly lost age where kings built monuments of stone, seven
structures stood out for their grandiosity, and for the awe they
inspired in all who beheld them.

Since I was born in 1958...I grew up during the 60's and early 70's..or more aptly..during the twiggy years. "The fashion industry has been pushing their
skeletal=beauty equation ever since Twiggy in the 60s, and since then,
young women have been starving (and up-chucking) themselves to death in
the pursuit of meeting those unhealthy standards." commented Karin Fuller in a recent article. "It hasn’t always been that way, though. In
paintings from the 19th century and earlier, beautiful wo... Continue reading...

Unconditional Love, Love Without Condition
Sandy Stevenson
I love you as you are, as you seek to find your own special way to relate to the world.
I honour your choices to learn in the way you feel is right for you.
I know it is important that you are the person you want to be and not someone that I or others think you "should" be. I realise that I cannot know what is best for you, although perha... Continue reading...
